Prayer At Iron Horse 100 Mile Race

Race Director Chris Rodatz recited this prayer just before the race began. I like it:

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be also at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And until we meet again at the finish line,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
